It quite funny when the right of the students are been deprived and doesn't have any say, it call for serious question when the college security are been empowered beyond the student, of which they are been employed to maintain law and order, when a security will be the one to persecute the student, lied and file false allegation against the student just to get good favour from their boss or maybe rank.
It happen yesterday when a security guy raised a SLAP on a student at Akata's potters lodge due to hostel pass, it was a big shocked to me because I believe no matter the offence of the student I think there should be need for talk and question should be asked, eye witness confirmed that the security man shouldn't have slap the lady, come to think of it many student have experienced even the worst and suffer a lot form this so call security,.
It been known of them that even when the senior boys comes in to cause trouble, this so call security will be the one to hide nor run away. It not fair to hear this, but thanks to the eye witness that call the attention of the student representative who take charge and settle the fight, one of the student that was there made this statement "NA YABATECH I DEY SEE WEY SECURITY GO DEY YAN STUDENT SEY DEY FIT ROPE AM MAKE THEM SEND THEM COMOT FOR SCHOOL" I huge the student representative to look vividly into this matter very well for such occurrence not to repeat itself again.
